This 2022 Review of CPA Site Solution Websites is meant to help you understand the biggest problems with CPA Site Solutions, despite their customer reviews of the CPA focused website service.
First off, they are a template that is dripping in duplicate content.
Google does NOT recommend using duplicate content, and CPA Site Solutions basically syndicates their content to every single website (for the most part).
Google has direction about whether the duplicate content from CPA Site Solutions Websites would be bad for SEO.
Quote from Google About Syndicated Content:
"Syndicate carefully: If you syndicate your content on other sites, Google will always show the version we think is most appropriate for users in each given search, which may or may not be the version you'd prefer. However, it is helpful to ensure that each site on which your content is syndicated includes a link back to your original article. You can also ask those who use your syndicated material to use the noindex tag to prevent search engines from indexing their version of the content."
If you use the common plagiarism tool called copyscape, you’ll see that with the exception of the small custom part on your home page, almost the entire website is duplicate content.
Duplicate content means it’s identical to content on other websites.
Google isn’t in the business of serving up template content that’s substantially the same as other content.
If you want to rank for lots of keywords on Google and Bing, you need to have lots of high quality, unique content on your website that actually engages the user and invited them to read.
Your website being built of duplicate content means that Google will gloss over most of your site and probably won’t serve up many sub pages for those ever important accountant keywords.
Duplicate Content Proof Right Here:
Look, i just jumped over to CPA Site solutions and went to their designs page. They have a couple of their more custom upgraded websites on display for people to see. I am taking the first, most prominent example of their accounting website template that's been augmented, and I'm going to see how long it takes me to find the duplicate content.
A - I took one of the service pages from Aldering CPA Group
B - Put one of the Service Pages in Copyscape
C - Look at the hundreds of returns of duplicate content.
See the duplicate content for forensic accounting here.
If you choose CPA site solution websites in 2022, your website will more than likely never look authentic, have engaging content or be in tune with your customers real problems or your value proposition.
Watch to Learn How to Build a High Converting Website:
Ok, but CPA site solutions claims that you can customize the site as much as you want.
That’s kind of true.
The pages allow you to update language slightly but changes frequently lead to destroying the aesthetic and there’s no real ways to optimize for a new user interface.
Why is CPA site solutions hard to customize? Well, it’s a template.
Seriously, they add in some customizable fields that you provide, and then they push publish.
There are certainly ways to add different copy into each template, and you can hire their team to “customize” their site, but the reality is that it appears that the structure is quite inflexible.
Why does it matter?
Well, their templates are old
Like, very very old.
In fact, The templates I see on CPA site solutions are almost entirely the same as they were seven years ago when I first started being aware of what they offered.
Don’t let your business's growth be tied to a sloppy and outdated website template.
Your business deserves better.
Not only that but their templates are filled with stock imagery and outdated designs.
One major factor that leads to a high converting website is to have imagery and a user interface that has an authentic look and feel for your brand, industry niche, and your team.
You’re selling yourself short if you use a template that doesn’t allow you to have a highly optimized and authentic look to your accountant or CPA website.
Look, even if you're trying to use their customization, their writers are obviously not brandscripting experts that can write compelling sales copy, and most of what I can observe about CPA Site solutions is that the customer obviously had to do their own writing.
Accountants are generally really bad at sales copywriting, and it's part of why
Accountants already have a tendency to waste lots of their precious time on non-productive activities, and it’s not a natural thing for them to commit to ever valuable prospecting and selling that’s required.
Accountant should be spending lots of time developing their value proposition and their overall messaging, but they usually require coaching and guidance to get it right.
If you get a website from CPA site solutions, and you decide to actually update the copywriting, chances are that you’re going to fall victim to the typical fails of do it yourself sales Copywriting.
When you get a CPA website or website for accountants from Feedbackwrench, you’re in listing a team of highly skilled sales copywriting and positioning experts along with top-notch designers.
Rob from Feedbackwrench (Me!) has run hundreds of B2B sales meetings during his time as a accounting firm owner, and since then, he is run hundreds or thousands of meetings for accounting firms and written hundreds of pages of sales Copywriting for Accounting Firms.
The bottom line is that you’re probably not very good at writing content that will cause visitors to become customers, and it’s probably not very high ROI activity for you to commit to.
The proof is in the pudding, take a look at some of the websites developed by the Feedbackwrench team, read the sales copywriting, and listen to the customers talk about how they’ve been able to build momentum and actually get clients.
When you check out some of the SEO case studies shown on CPA site solutions, you’ll notice a very manipulative proposition.
If you pay close attention, they start to take claim that the firms using their website products are ranking really high for keywords but they neglect to tell you how many of those pages are actually getting ranked and they don’t do a very good job of describing how local SEO actually works.
